Company Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die Förderung des Standorts Rapperswil-Jona der OST - Ostschweizer Fachhochschule (nachstehend «Standort OST-RJ» genannt), vor allem in kultureller und materieller Hinsicht. Dies erfolgt insbesondere mittels; Kultureller Veranstaltungen für die Studentenschaft sowie für die am Standort OST-RJ interessierten Kreise; Zuwendungen an den Standort OST-RJ für Lehrmaterial und Einrichtungen, welche nicht aus ordentlichen Mitteln beschafft werden können; Gewährung finanzieller Hilfe an Studierende, im Besonderen in Härtefällen, soweit die bestehenden Sozialeinrichtungen nicht ausreichen; Erwerb von Land oder Liegenschaften für die Errichtung von Studentenwohnungen. Die Stiftung hat gemeinnützigen Charakter und verfolgt keinerlei Erwerbszweck.
