Company Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt, die Schlossbesitzung von Jegenstorf dem Kanton Bern und dem Berner Volk als geschichtliches Denkmal zu erhalten und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen. Als Schlossmuseum sammelt, präsentiert und vermittelt die Stiftung bürgerliche und patrizische Wohnkultur und Lebenswelten vom 17. bis ins frühe 20. Jahrhundert mit Schwerpunkt im 18. Jahrhundert. Gewinn und Kapital der Stiftung sind ausschliesslich dem vorstehend genannten Zweck gewidmet. Erwerbszwecke sind ausgeschlossen.
