Zweck der Stiftung ist die Bereitstellung und der Unterhalt der zum Betrieb und zur Fortführung des bisherigen Ortsmuseums Pfäffikon, inskünftig "Museum am Pfäffikersee" genannt, notwendigen Räumlichkeiten sowie der Betrieb der "Chronikstube".
