Company Purpose

Vermarktung des Nutzungspotenzials der Forschungsanlagen der Photon Science Division (Swiss Light Sources SLS, SwissFEL und Reinräume) am Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) an privatrechtliche Benutzer und für proprietäre Anwendungen, insbesondere Koordination und Organisation der Aktivitäten der privatrechtlichen Benutzer, bei Bedarf auch in Zusammenarbeit mit weiteren Partnern, Vermittlung von Finanzierung und Bau spezifischer Strahllinien und experimenteller Anlagen sowie Unterstützung bei der Realisierung weiterer Infrastruktur an den Light-Source-Anlagen für die privatrechtlichen Benutzer, Förderung der Ausbildung von Personen aus Hochschulen und Industrie, Ausführung von Industrieaufträgen in Forschung, Entwicklung und Produktion, Unterstützung beim Aufbau neuer Anwendungen und Methoden zur Nutzung der Light-Source-Anlagen; kann Zweigniederlassungen und Tochtergesellschaften errichten und sich an anderen Unternehmen beteiligen oder mit ihnen zusammenarbeiten.
