Company Purpose

Zweck der Stiftung ist die Förderung von Lehre und Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Allgemeinen Inneren Medizin. Der Stiftungszweck orientiert sich an den Aktivitäten der Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Allgemeine Innere Medizin (SGIM) als Stifterin und wird verwirklicht insbesondere durch die Unterstützung, Organisation und/oder Durchführung von Projekten und Veranstaltungen zu wissenschaftlichen, Aus- Weiter- und Fortbildungszwecken, Unterstützung, Organisation und/oder Durchführung von patientenbezogenen Projekten und Veranstaltungen, Vergabe von Preisen und Stipendien, Förderung von Forschungsvorhaben und Vergabe von Forschungsaufträgen. Die Stiftung kann ihre Tätigkeit auf andere Bereiche ausdehnen, soweit diese mit dem vorgenannten Zweck in Übereinstimmung stehen. Die Stiftung hat gemeinnützigen Charakter und verfolgt keinen Erwerbszweck.
