Company Purpose

Zweck und Aufgabe der Gesellschaft ist die Förderung geistiger und materieller Volkswohlfahrt in der ganzen Schweiz. Ausnahmsweise können auch Projekte, die ihren Ursprung in der Schweiz haben, aber im Ausland zum Tragen kommen, unterstützt werden. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit schenkt die Gesellschaft auch der tätigen Hilfe für das Wohl der Mitmenschen. Ausserordentlicherweise nimmt sie die Opferwilligkeit der schweizerischen Bevölkerung in Anspruch für gemeinnützige Zwecke, insbesondere zur Hilfeleistung bei grösseren Unglücksfällen und aussergewöhnlichen Notständen.
