Die Genossenschaft bezweckt in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe die Vermietung und den Unterhalt des Motorschiffs "Jura".Die Genossenschaft ist verpflichtet, das Schiff ausschliesslich für gemeinnützige Zwecke zur Verfügung zu stellen, insbesondere als Ferienstation für behinderte und benachteiligte Kinder und Jugendliche und Schulen.
