Company Purpose
Unterstützung von Publikationen aus dem zeitlichen und/oder thematischen Umfeld Jacob Burckhardts, Unterstützung der Herausgabe der Werke von Jacob Burckhardt und von Werken über sein Wirken, Unterstützung historischer und kunsthistorischer Forschung, vornehmlich in Basel, sowie Anschaffung historischer und kunsthistorischer Werke für die Universitätsbibliothek und die Bibliothek des Kunstmuseums. Unterstützung kulturwissenschaftlicher Studien im Sinne der Gedankenwelt Jacob Burckhardts, insbesondere durch Gewährung von Beihilfen an Nachwuchswissenschafter.
