Company Purpose
Die Stiftung betreibt in den Liegenschaften Schüsspromenade 24, 24a, 26 und 28 und Seevorstadt 52, 54 und 56 - gegebenenfalls unter Mitwirkung von Partnerorganisationen und gegebenenfalls in weiteren Gebäuden in Biel - ein vielseitiges Museum für Geschichte, Kunst und Archäologie. Die Stiftung verwaltet ihre Liegenschaften im Interesse eines langfristigen Erhaltes des Museums und dessen Räumlichkeiten. Das äussere Erscheinungsbild der Gebäude Schüsspromenade 26 und 28 darf nicht verändert werden. In einem Saal des Museums, Charles Neuhaus-Verdan-Saal genannt, werden die Porträts der Familie der Stifterin, Frau Dora Neuhaus, ausgestellt.
