Periodische Ausrichtung von Preisen ("Tomalla-Preise") aus den Erträgen und dem Kapital des Stiftungsvermögens für die besten wissenschaftlichen Leistungen zur Erforschung und theoretischen Erklärung der irdischen Schwerkraft und der kosmischen Schwerkraft (Gravitation). Die Stiftung kann die Gravitationslehre auch auf andere Weise fördern.
